Since I joined the Veterans of Foreign Wars in 1993 (Life Member) I have taken a great interest in helping Veteran non-profit organizations raise funds. This has been a major interest for me because for the first time I realized the importance of these organizations to our Veteran and Military Family.
I observed many organizations “jump through hoops” trying to raise money so they can help Veterans, Kids and communities. You know; barbecues, bake sales, dances and yard sales. These are all good for raising money but are they enough? With the many hours of work and co-ordination they raise hundreds of dollars and they do help. However, when you calculate the per hour amounts raised it is usually around $10-$15 per working hour.
I’ve looked at many organization web sites and have seen some common items. One is the fact that they do much good. The other is the fact that most have a donate button or link somewhere on the site. Suppose instead of just accepting one-time donations an organization could keep receiving donations without simply asking for money. What if you could help your supporters, members and the people that receive your help, save money AND you keep receiving donations? Would that be something you would be willing to spend ten or fifteen minutes investigating?
I finally have a way to help ANY organization increase their annual donations and I offer that opportunity to you.

I joined the American Legion about seven years ago. I found this organization is fairly active if not a bit slow to respond to different situations.
The American Legion management has this terrifically stupid idea that they must think “inside the box” about too many different topics like fund raising, and some politically sensitive issues.
That being said, they are better than most.
We work with non-profits to help them raise much needed funds for the projects they are involved with.
We have yet to speak with a non-profit that has considered travel for their fund raising. We do things like establish a cruise, that the organization must inform all of the members and supporters about.
We act as the go-between with the organization and the cruise line.
With active groups this can raise as much at $20,000 for one cruise. And, guess what – the organization does not spend anything except for publicity.
We do not charge for doing this.
Contact us using the information on the Front Door and we will get back with you to get the ball rolling.
Since I joined the VFW in 1993 I have sought to help with fund raising. Since Jackie and I were married, in 1997, we have both sought out non-profits with good reputations doing good things and have tried to help them raise needed funds.
I don’t normally think “in the box” so my ideas are not totally understood by the groups we approach. It’s like they just don’t get it! The program being presented is one in which the non-profit is not just holding out their hand asking for money. It is also not one that will raise $500 baking cakes or other similar type of events.
I propose a way to bring in tens of thousands of dollars, annually, simply by offering something for free that will help the members and supporters (and anyone they see) save money and earn money. The program will also increase the NP’s supporter base because of that dollar savings for the supporters.
If you are a non-profit looking to raise funds with a minimum of time and effort or if you know of such please contact us or have them contact us.
All of our contact information is located at the Front Door or you can use the Comment at the end of this post.

My wife and I were very lucky a couple of years ago when we found the Snowball Express a non-profit organization. At the time they were looking for Travel Agents to help them with a huge event being held in Southern California. We spent many hours, as travel agents, helping them book military families to their annual event. The following year we again assisted them in making travel arrangements for the military families.
The third year we were fortunate enough to actually get our butts out to Anaheim to see, first hand, what happens at the other end of the bookings we made. Trust me when I say, you will NEVER experience anything as emotional as that. It was a mixture of sadness and joy, of a huge rush of awe at the strength of these families. It is something we will both remember forever.
After you have finished reading the above I strongly recommend you visit their web site at www.snowballexpress.org and go through the site in depth. Here is a clue. This organization is helping the families of our fallen military – all our fallen military since 9/11/2001.
