“We the people” seems to be a term that many politicians have forgotten.
What that means to me is that every person elected to any office by a vote of the general population works for, not against, the will of that population.

The only two people elected to hold Federal Government positions, that are elected by the general population of the entire country are the President and the Vice President. Basically what the people are saying, when they do vote for the President and Vice President is; “we trust you to protect us and provide us with what we want, putting aside your own personal ideas and agendas”.

I guess I almost got to wandering a little bit. Sorry!

These are my thoughts about a platform (with input from a great many people):
1 – Defend our country from illegal invaders at all costs and with all the strength necessary.
2 – Become self sufficient in terms of energy. We have the resources and we should use them to better protect our country.
3 – Repeal the Healthcare Law as it is not in the best interest of our country, economically and national security.
4 – Eliminate the Internal Revenue Service and establish a flat tax or fair tax.
5 – Eliminate the misinterpretation of natural born citizens being anyone born by any parents within the borders of the United States.
6 – Strengthen our national defense.
7 – Get rid of the ACLU.
8 – Amend the Constitution regarding the separation of Church and State. This country was founded on a strong belief in God and should remain that way.
9 – If health care is to be made better, get it out of the hands of the Federal Government. Take a step by step approach and slowly begin to implement such items as cross state border insurance coverage; reduce health care costs by banning drug companies from advertising in the media (much like cigarette advertisements) and so on.
10 – ASK the population what we want and act on it quickly and efficiently.
11 – Remove the ability to add additional provisions to a bill that have nothing to do with that bill.
12 – Add an amendment to the Constitution to establish English as our National Language.
13 – Create term limits for all position, within the Federal Government, that are voted on by the Citizens of the United States.

These are not necessarily in any order and will be sorted out and added to as time goes on.

I guess I can add something to the tonnes already written about this mess.
It seems to me that to stand around blaming everyone under the sun about the problem is sure to stop the leak and clean everything up. What?

The Federal Government (President Obama) loves to blame someone else for everything. So, instead of pulling out all the stops and trying everything he points, then he points and then, guess what, he points some more. And things get worse.

You cannot convince me that “everything is being done” to correct this.
Where are all of the other oil companies? Don’t they realize this is going to impact them also? Why are they not helping?
Where are all of the hot-shot university people that know it all when it comes to keeping the ROTC off of their campuses? Don’t they know anything?
When are all of the companies that claim to have oil eating bacteria at the ready going to be involved and allowed to show their stuff?
Where are all the deep sea exploration people, you know them, they can salvage from over 1 mile down but suddenly they can’t lend their expertise? Or is someone stopping them?
Where are all the hot shots in Europe? Don’t they realize that if this spill gets into the Gulf Stream it is going directly to Europe – do not pass go. Go directly to Europe.

Google it! Oil eating bacteria! There is a company in Florida that wants to help but nobody is listening. There are probably more but it frustrates me to see them all over the net but nothing is being done.

I am not an expert but you have to believe that somewhere in the world someone can help this. Yes, the world that would rather spend time fighting their neighbors or doing other crap instead of helping.

And that’s my view.
